Since 2018, the Africa Public Sector Conference & Awards has played a key role in driving thought leadership, innovation and development in the public sector. Its unique ability to convene leaders from across the continent has facilitated discussions on pertinent issues relating to growth and sustainability. Now in its 7th year, APSCA brings together C-level executives, stakeholders, senior leaders, and policymakers, in the public and private sectors to spearhead transformative discussions.
Most importantly, APSCA will lift the veil on top performing leaders, agencies, ministries, governors, mayors and civil servants and private organisations who are bringing innovation and transformation to the African citizenry during a high-profile awards night. Recognition and accolades serve as a motivation to human nature, hence the need to lift the veil on top performing leaders who have showcased excellence in policy innovation and exceptional leadership at various levels of governance. This will raise the bench mark of excellence amongst public office holders and civil servants.
Public procurement represents 15 to 20 percent of GDP across most African economies. Used well, it is one of government's most powerful tools for creating value, building local industry, and driving integrity.
Without sound public finance, there is no sustainable development. This forum convenes Finance Ministers, central bank governors, and revenue authority leaders to address Africa's most critical fiscal challenges.
Across Africa, women are no longer simply represented in public leadership — they are leading it. This forum convenes senior women executives, ministers, and reform champions to examine what structural gender inclusion looks like in practice,
Africa's development story is increasingly written at the subnational level. This forum brings together Governors, regional executives, and county leaders to share experiences on decentralisation, accountability, and the delivery of development closest to the citizen.
